At BOLD I primarily work as a graphic design artist and website designer/developer. This involves a bit of application development as well, especially as we've increasingly embraced Drupal in recent years. I have a BFA in visual arts from Kansas State University and, like Sandra, started out in print and later moved to the web. I tend to take like simplicity and so I take a minimalist approach to both code and design. My focus is typically on user interface, fast-loading sites and search engine optimization using CSS-based, standards-compliant code.
